So after looking around www.livescribe.com it seems that you can actually print your own paper. The printer specs are a little specific but its still better that buying new books all the time.

If anyone has any thoughts lets here them.

soon will do once my pen arrives, the office has a postscript pirnter so I will see if the pen works just as well

of course tbe books do look cool so i will probably just use my own notes for draft notes etc
